Time is running short, and I can already hear the vans arriving to get into this place to scrub it down during the off season.

I hope they brought a lot of cleaning solution. Some of these stains aren’t going to come out easily.

That's not such a bad idea actually. It would certainly be easily for me than actually co-writing with someone.

Another thing I might do is once I know who is signing up for season 9 is to try and find a couple of people in advance who would be my intersection partner should the need arise - therefore avoiding the whole panicky 'I've got to find someone to write with and most people already have partners!' feeling from last time.

Yeah, because then it turns into 5th grade gym class.

That's why I tried to keep up lists in the GR of who had partners and who didn't. There were just too damned many people to have to tap people on the shoulder individually without a guide.
