Speaking of fuss, I want to thank everyone who sent me supportive emails. It meant a lot.

I also want to thank the people who told me to f-off and die. Notice that they *said it* but they didn't take their ball and go home? They stayed. Because they love Idol even if a twist is rough on their heart. More people should pay attention to that lesson!

I would never have guessed. This IS amazing.

Honestly. Two. I had lots and lots of ideas, oodles of fragments and outlines and starts, but finishing things was something I just hadn't managed. And those two stories? I had shown them to a grand total of four people (and one of them lives with me). The confidence I've gotten from writing for a public audience and actually finishing things is (usually, mostly) worth the angst and the stress. Especially when considering the friends I've made. This is a nifty pressure cooker that cooks up nifty things.

And yeah, the non-fiction was a challenge! I'm glad I tried it, but damn, that was hard. ;)
