Given the topic choices (Beneath the Surface; All That Jazz; D-minor: saddest of all keys; No capes) the only one that really doesn't interest me is D-Minor, because I really don't know a lot about music (although of course it doesn't have to be taken that way...)

I've been so royally / repeatedly screwed by LJ messaging delays and others' LJI partner-finding panic today that I'm done trying / guessing who is actually still free. I'll take whoever's left. Declare yourself my partner here and that's that. EASY.

edit: but there's a catch: You'll either need to be a demonstrably experienced musician / music enthusiast, OR you'll need to be willing to write on "beneath the surface" or "No capes."

There'll be a catch working with me, too: I'm currently located in Kazakhstan (time zone is UTC+6, or 11 hours ahead of Central Daylight Time), so neither of us will have all waking hours available for collaboration.

I can write about either of the two non-musical topics (I think). And since you appear to have some ideas with regard to "all that jazz," I'm all ears.
