The week came to an end.

I'll admit, the one thing I do like about the 3 Strikes format is that it gives people that opportunity to reexamine what they might be missing out on!

I agree, G! It also allows writers the opportunity to see what pieces "work" and which don't. It's been soooooooooooooooooooooooo less stressful. I know you're a fan of the STRESS, but srsly.

That's something I hadn't considered, but it really has given people a chance to play around a little it seems. Knowing that I can still be in it even if I perform poorly on one lets me feel like I can be riskier, I think.

I also like the 3 strikes format for the reason that it does give you more than one chance. In the past, if you had an off week, or an atypical week when it came to the quality of your entry, that could sign your doom. But now, it gives you a little freedom to try different things, because there's a little wiggle room when it comes to the results.

I've enjoyed these two writers and am looking forward to seeing what they do next week.
