A few words from clauderainsrm:

This isn’t our first rodeo. Although Idol has only been here on DW for this special mini season for a couple months, we’ve been around since 2006. We’ve picked up a few things over the years, and lost a lot of folks along the way. But we’ve also gained a lot of new friends as well.

Two of those friends are leaving us today.

bittyjane  got caught up in real life, and unfortunately had to drop.

We also had a bye-out, so we are losing ellster_kyle .


As much as that sucks, we continue to move forward.

There’s a lot to look forward to in this week’s entries! If you haven’t started reading yet, I think you’re going to find something you love in there. Probably a lot of things.

So make sure you take the time to read, comment and vote for your favorites! I know that our US based contestants are going to be pretty busy this with Thanksgiving fast approaching. But I hope you are going to be able to not only dive into these entries, but tell other people about it. Give them something to be thankful for as well!!! :)

That's a harsh challenge! Isn't it hypocritical to comment on an entry and then not vote for it? I know when I had nine comments on an entry but (at the time) only seven votes in the poll, that kind of felt like a betrayal, y'know? Who is it who's being two-faced to me??

(There are some I vote for and don't comment on though, who I don't vote for is between only me and my list :) )

SCHEISSE! I can't believe I did it this week! I commented to everyone!!! I'm sorry, but it's my first week (despite having read everything written the entire competition!) and I'm just happy!! =DD Man, my Everest's are getting smaller and smaller these days! LOL!

Aww, darlin'! I'm sorry if I somehow missed you! I was doing the list (you know, running down the entries from Gary's poll) SUPER late at night, and I've been SUPER swamped, but I SWEAR to you... I didn't mean to miss your entry! =)) I'm going to go read RIGHT NOW! Thanks for letting me know, though!!

For me, a person never has to worry about commenting or responding to comments I leave! -grin- Don't get me wrong, I love to hear what folks think, but I'm INCREDIBLY inconsistent, myself, when it comes to leaving comments. I always read and always vote, but finding the time to respond to dozens of stories can sometimes stress me TF out! ;D So no! I just missed an entry, somehow!! =D

Last week was just a total bust. I didn't get to do any of the fun LJI things (including writing!), so I'm glad to be back. :)
