I have 'Plans' tied to a time period and relationship in my life as well. Thankfully, enough time has passed that I can listen to it again without feeling it so much (I was listening to them the past few days, in fact!) but oomf, music and the way certain lyrics stay with you because they get bound up with what one is feeling or going through in one life! I couldn't listen to classic rock for several years because of my first LTR - ah! a whole genre! As a music lover, it's cutting.
