The last post I saw was from kajel. If you are taking a bye and your comment on the topic thread doesn't clearly state that (ie, you posted a link to your own LJ where you say you're taking a bye) please let me know here. We're short-staffed at work today so I'm a bit swamped and n_decisive is unavailable this morning as well.

Green Room/Announcements - Week 5 - Day 5

I have a couple announcements this morning. One of them sad, the other is the results of the "pick a player" and what they mean.

The first announcement is that due to "Real Life" demanding even more of her spare time than it had been...n_decisive has had to step down from her position as Assistant. She's done a marvelous, and IMO often underappreciated, job during her brief tenure.

I know she's sticking around these parts though and *crosses fingers* maybe playing the Home Game now and then!

I asked you to pick a fellow contestant and hinted that it was a representative. I didn't say if it was bad or good. (But I'll let you off the hook and say that based on who voted for who, it *seems* like it was done - for the most part - of people voting for who they liked. Granted, this now shows who is well liked in the rank and file.*g*)

They need to email me at clauderainsrm@gmail.com by Tuesday October 28th at noon EDT with their *30 top choices* for people that they want to be in a tribe with. . . that's right. It's a school yard pick 'em - with the new tribes taking effect *next week*. (if more than one person selects the same person it will be determined by time stamp, or negotiation. . .)

The four people YOU their fellow contestants have selected now have the chance to reset the game by picking who they are going to compete against for the next few weeks!!! Or at least some of them.*g*

A few words from clauderainsrm:

Each week contestants take a topic and make it their own, marking it with their own unique style and outlook.

Every once in a while though we throw them a curve ball and make it an “Open Topic”. Which means that the entries aren’t them struggling to figure out how to fit something into the narrow confines of a topic, it’s what is actually one their minds at the time, it’s a piece of what they can do when there are no limits.

Under those circumstances some people soar while others will struggle. It’s all part of the fun to see who is going to emerge from the process stronger or more self confident than they were when the topic was announced. Plus, you get a clear peak inside each contestants head. Which often a scary and confusing place!!!*G*

Due to not making the deadline we are saying goodbye to: vociferocity and firedemonlover.

And two folks also had to drop: kelly0182 and anjala.

But for the rest of you, it’s business as usual!

Cast your votes for your favorite entries. The lowest vote getter in each tribe will be eliminated.
