Results - Week 6

 When I announced that there would be 3 people eliminated this week, people thought "Oh no, another write off!"  I figured there was a decent chance of that happening regardless of how many people were leaving. That's just how close this mini season is. 

There is some bad news though, because not everyone is making that Write Off. 

Leaving us this week is  tamara_in_jakarta 
and off_fleek_geek 

They may have different names, but they are dear friends to Idol and I'm so happy that they came out for this mini season. Thank you for being here!


drippedonpaper  has decided to sacrifice, in order to save the rest of you from having to write another entry.  It's a noble gesture, and very in character.  Still quite sad though.

I wondered if one of the write off participants might sacrifice (but also wasn’t even sure if a write-off sacrifice could be a legit thing). Thank you, thank you drippedonpaper!

Damn. I was literally thinking that because we join Idol to be motivated to write and have readers, actually being in the write offs best serves the whole reason we're involved.

Though intentionally getting in the write off is challenging fate a bit daringly.

But it's just well i have at least two well researched articles to write as soon as I possibly can so i guess i could use the time

All very strong writers enjoyed all of off_fleek's entries, and Tamara's Someone to love us and especially drippedonpaper's entry about "gardening" are two of the strongest pieces of writing so far.

Hope to see their triumphant return in the home game, the rest of us are gonna have some wood to chop to have a chance in this, no weak links, fierce competition.
