LJ Idol Presents:

on a hot, sultry, summer night back when i was sixteen... i showed up to a tiny little venue with a cast on one foot (shattered one of the bones in my ankle) and a steel toed boot on the other. i spent the night standing dead center in the mosh pit all night. i stomped the hell out of any one who came near me. by the end of the first hour, no one did.... and i heard the melodious sounds of such songs as, "big lizard in my backyard" and "best thanksgiving ever." and when i left that night, i realized my car was next to a large private bus. and i heard, "HEY! YOU'RE THAT CHICK WHO STOMPED PEOPLE'S TOES!" and yes, the night ended with the dead milkmen listening to the tale of my broken bones and the signing of my cast....

it's still my favorite meeting celebrity tale and i've met a LOT bigger names. but the dead milkmen signing my cast.... oh yeah. that was a special night.
