This week, the Second Chancers walked the High Wire.

Unfortunately, some of them fell off before they reached the other side. Which is bound to happen. Thank you to everyone who did come out last week though. I'm sorry to be losing you so quickly.

This week, the five contestants with the highest number of votes will be given the choice to join the main competition, and the five with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated.

It's high stakes, but isn't every week?

My lovely husband, kaztunk, had a last minute work shift come up, and was bummed because he didn't have time to submit his entry! Extra dollars are definitely necessary, of course....He promises he'll keep writing and maybe play in a few Home Games.

Lowest 5? Thats so cruel Gary. I of course am anticipating being in the lowest 5 but fingers crossed. I went with my gut and submitted my smallest piece but I think it was a really good piece of my writing.

Lowest 5 is cruel...I'm just glad that I had a beta reader this time (the second time I've had one all season)! I think my piece is strong, but it could be because some of it is true.

Oddly enough, it got me thinking about him and I spoke to him tonight to find out his wife gave birth this past weekend. Hmmm....
