Results - Week 25

Before we get to the results - there is a matter of the Jury. They have been charged to, collectively, make the decision who will receive immunity each week. The only catch being, no one can receive it more than once. With so many quality entries this week, and the unpredictability of polls, it's always a challenge to reach a collective decision. How much of a challenge?

This week the contestant who won did so by 1 vote. There were 7 other contestants one vote down from winning!!!

In the end though, the first person to be granted immunity by our Jury was applespicy! Congratulations!!

That was the good news. Unfortunately, we also have the bad news to deliver. Granted, getting to this point in the competition has got to be "good news" as well. But I know that doesn't stop leaving from sucking.
I know this week is going to upset a lot of people's predictions for the season. On the other hand, the curse of being labeled the "front runner" is pretty much intact.

This is one of the most disappointing eliminations EVER. 3 flisters and someone I would gladly have on my flist :( You four all write brilliantly!

Sad to see these go. But really, these were practically ALL keeper entries. Now that beeker is out, that eliminates everyone I partnered with in the intersections and three-way.

So I'm curious, having no idea how the jury thing works. Does the person they pick get an immunity token, to be used when needed? Or is it just a failsafe for that given round?

It just means they were immune this round I believe. Rather they needed it or not. That's how it was last season...

What they said. It's a fail safe. In theory, the jury members could consider who they didn't want to be eliminated that particular week, and eventually (in theory), everyone who is still in the competition will end up with it at some point.
