Green Room - Week 4 Day 4
Good morning! How is everyone today?
LJ Idol Tech Support wishes she could have taken a sick day. (Stupid cold.) Our fabulous host was running late this morning and asked me to post the Green Room. Go me!
What's going on in your lives today? I've seen a lot of buzz about the debate last night. I didn't get to watch because I was at my other job.
What's going on in my life today? Well, I arranged to work last night so that I could have tonight off so I can watch the Packers
That's about it for me. I'm off to update my poll tables with the latest entries.
Speaking of entries... post them here! The deadline is coming up fast! Don't make me post your name tomorrow morning. :-)

I could only stomach about 10 minutes of that debate before I wanted to throttle all of them. Had to turn it off and drive rusty nails into my eyes... it seemed to be the preferrable alternative. Much less painful.
I'd love to see the Pack win, but I just don't think they will. They're a really young team and they haven't proven yet that they can run consistently... and you have to be able to run to keep a defense honest. This is really the first real test the Pack has faced this season. They've eaten up lower-tier teams to this point and the one relatively decent team they played... Washington... they barely got by. As well as they've been playing, I think they've got a lot of question marks... maybe some of them will be answered tonight. Though I'd like to see Brett win one more big one, I don't know that they can beat the elite teams in the league.
Enjoy your cheese curds!!! lol... What in the hell is a cheese curd anyway?

Steelers 31, Packers 21. *g*

I'm so sorry to say... actually, no I'm not... I'll never like the Steelers just because of the Immaculate Reception. Granted, I wasn't alive at the time of the Immaculate Reception, but as a devoted, lifelong member of the Raider Nation, I must continue the hate. Just as I'll forever hate all things New England... it was a fumble. :-(
That being said... as much as I hate them, I don't think anybody can stop that Patriot juggernaut. Looks like I might be skipping my first Super Bowl ever... I just can't stand looking at Tom Brady without wanting to punch the TV. lol...

I hate Dallas because of Super Bowl XXX. *g* But seriously, if your Pack could play any team, wouldn't you want it to be the Steelers? Come on, a replay of the preseason (where the Pack beat us).
Plus, you gotta like the Steelers or else Gary will get on your case about it. *g*

Oh, they're not MY Packers... oh no... see my icon for my beloved team of choice. And then feel sorry for me.
Sorry, can't like the Steelers, despite Gary getting on my case about it. I can't betray my feelings!!! lol...

You gotta come to Pennsylvania sometime. Have some pierogies, chipped ham, and Iron City. Then you'll see what we blue-collar Steeler fans are all about. *g*

What in the world is a pierogie? Iron City is a type of beer, right? :-)
I'm sure you blue-collar Steeler fans are all about beating the snot out of one lone Raider fan. lol... ;-)
