Tie-Breaker?

Call it what you want - temporary insanity, a bout of mercy, trying to get some good karma built up before my appointment tomorrow, a fiendish trap of some kind - but we had a run off scheduled and it’s not happening.

amorphous-mess's entry has him officially revealing his “true ID” and stepping off the mat. Which, for the record, is a move that I completely understand and respect.

The other two got in well in time, and with some revealing entries of their own:

ellakite 's entry
redvelvetgrrl 's entry

Does that mean there is one more competitor in the running than was originally scheduled? Yes it does. Sometimes that happens. Today is one of those days. I’m sure I’ll find a way to make you pay for it later. :D

CHECK OUT those entries though. Comment on them!

I’m pretty sure you are going to agree that you wouldn’t want to send either of those two home either. Granted, at this point it’s difficult to send anyone away. But I don’t know, today just didn’t feel like their day.

Congratulations you too - and thank you ‘Mess. I hope we haven’t seen the last of you.

Sad to see [livejournal.com profile] amorphous_mess drop out, I had no idea it was [livejournal.com profile] jave_fiend. But nice to see we have been spared a tie breaker vote! Thank you!

I am quite happy to see the both of you spared. However, Gary's mercy scares me... he doesn't do these things without a reason, and you might wish you had been eliminated versus what we're probably going to deal with come Tuesday night... ;)

I am glad to see you both survive another round, even as [livejournal.com profile] java_fiend gives up his alter ego.

edited for bad grammar.

I think this all worked out rather well. I know Java is a little bummed about it coming to an end, but I am glad that both those writers get another shot in the game since I enjoy them very much.

I'm glad two stay. I didn't know who mess was.

What is your appointment, Gary? I hope it goes ok!

Today... is a good day to die!

Tomorrow will also be a good day to die, as a high pressure system will come in from the north, bringing clear skies and low humidity.

Tuesday will also be a good day to die, as the weather patterns will bring easterly winds off the ocean, keeping the temperatures down to a comfortable level.

And looking ahead to the extended forecast... it appears that every day this week will be a good day to die!

Now you've got me picturing some warriors (or Klingons, bless my geeky soul), calling off a battle as they look over the weather charts and determine, sorry, it is NOT a good day to die after all.

"Aww.. MAN... I was so looking forward to this! grumblegrumblegrumble..."
