Week 4 - Results and Tie-Breaker

I don't think anyone will argue with me that this week was tough. Losing people at the end of it? That doesn't get any easier.

Especially when the people leaving are clearly talented. Some of them I've barely gotten to know, but saw a lot of promise in their work. Others I'm rather personally fond of them.

The one hope is that they will continue on with the Home Game and take advantage of the opportunity to try to get back into the thick of things when that door opens.

Obviously that doesn't cover everyone. We are missing an elimination from Tribe 5. That is because it ended with our first tie of the season between

What happens now is a tie-breaker. They both have until Tomorrow, Wednesday Dec 1st at 10pm EST to submit an entry on the tie-breaker topic. (Linked to this thread)

I had worse weeks obviously (when I got eliminated) but this seemed more brutal than any in the past because it's week 4!

I am flattered to be doing so well. Truly, I am.

I was terrified watching some of my favorites come too close to going home so soon.

I found out last season that it bothered me more when java_fiend got eliminated than when I did. Same would be the case with a few of my most treasured friends. So it was scary in that regard. Very, very scary.

I didn't even check my poll in the last hour, I was too busy refreshing tribe 6!

I was refreshing tribe 7 a lot because I was close to the bottom, but when I finally opened up tribe 6 to see how things were going there, I was shocked to see how close it was and who was on the verge of being eliminated!

I'm going to try not to pimp anymore. I hated that I did it, then got a ton of votes (granted, I also got about 4 comments on my entry from LJI people who weren't on my flist) so now I'm not so sure whether it was my flist or my entry that helped me. BLAH! BLAH TO INFINITY!

Agreed. I know I was sitting at the bottom and tied for the bottom a few times in my tribe (yes, I succumbed to refreshing). This is gonna be a rough season.

Yeah and sadly this doesn't encourage people to actually READ each other's entries. They just freak out, put up a post for their friends to arbitrarily vote for them, and people who should be in the game on merit alone get outs'd because their flist didn't vote for them as much. Makes me sick. Ugh.

/soapbox. Sorry that was a little whiny. It's early, and I'm cranky. >.>
