Speaking of Real Life...anyone near Tampa, Florida looking for a kitten? My husband found a very tiny little boy kitten at his workplace yesterday, and we already have two cats, so we can't keep him, and neither of us can stomach the thought of him going to a shelter where he'll be killed. Yay for slow and easy mornings! Don't work till 11:30. Then I tutor. I am getting in extra days , which is good for da money this week.
Hard to believe that in two and 1/2 weeks, if no issues pop up, kids n I will be wedding partying away in the St. Pete area for my bro's wedding! I am sooooo looking forward to getting outta town for a few. I so want to haves me some sun in the fun! I haven't need down to see my fam there in nearly four years. Need to go for a lot of reasons. Need fresh scenery. Need to be with happy living people a while. Bought their gift last night: white sheets. Not very exciting, but it's what they wanted, so OK.
Bought a t shirt for me with peacock feathers on it. Now that was exciting! AW

Yay for getting out of town! I probably have to wait until October to get off of Long Island again, but it was worth the awesome vacation we had to use up all our vacation days :)

Good morning! I'm sitting on a bus! And this prevening I will be in Maine! It's all kind of crazy. I'm not done packing, but I also have my NY apartment through June, so I have time.

So um, I guess this is the beginning of the rest of my life. :)

Tonight I eat pizza with a couple friends and maybe see improv. Friday I go to orientation and a party. Sunday I go to my party. Somewhere in there I check the poll results and make time to write an entry if I manage to survive this week. This poll scares me.

So, that's what's up with me. And, now that you mention it, camping would be awesome. I should do that this summer.

I hate camping! Well, okay, I've never been, but I'm allergic to the outdoors (in the itchy/sneezy sense, not the I'm-a-Princess sense). I think camping would be pretty miserable.

Being watched, however... hmm.

I have a few more entries to read, although I've already started voting for those I love. It's amazing, I almost don't need the spreadsheet b/c I can remember who wrote what and how I feel about it!

I'm happy that I wrote something completely different than the usual this week. Stepping out my comfort zone is simultaneously fun and terrifying...it's interesting to see how it translates in the poll.

I stayed up far too late last night to be expected to be competent today, but I have the day off tomorrow so... um... that's a thing.

Read and voted. Didn't comment as much as I told myself I would. I find it hard to drop a comment unless I actually have something to say. And then if someone else has already said the thing that I wanted to say it's even harder.

I'm probably over-thinking it all, which is weird on a number of different levels...

Today is the first day that I don't have to be at work. Wooooooooooooo. Summer schedule has officially begun, at last.

We worked out at 7 AM, which isn't a big deal for me but I was pretty sure that Sandi was either going to die, or kill me with dirty looks. We both survived. :)

I had a pretty good night's sleep, thanks for asking, although I had to get up extra early to make it to an 8am dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned... which is something that I have apparently neglected to do for the last few years. Whoops.

Mornin' One and All!

Good night sleep here... until the feline decided to use my head as a speedbag this morning to announce that it was time to eat.

Starting to get fired up for tonight's big showdown. Sorta silly to say it's a "must-win" with this only being the 2nd game of the season but after they dismantled us last season, we need a win just to get those bastards out of our heads!

Other than that, dealing with customers that seemed to have gone back for a second bowl of Idiot Flakes this morning and co-workers who have a second and third bowl of Douchie Flakes every morning... you know, the usual.

Things are good overall in the land of me. Hope everybody else is having a fantastic Hump Day!

I'm starting to consider myself pretty lucky. When my puppy (and by puppy I mean 70lb German Shepard) jumps into bed in the morning, she usually just curls up in the corner and wait until I wake up before she starts attention whoring. XD

I was officially invited to form a tech company today with three other people. The niche has a projected revenue stream that would pay off my mortgage in a couple of years if we stick with the conservative estimates. My initial investment is my experience, skillset, and time.

Another team member already has inital investors lined up.

Suddenly, I am very nervous, but also excited, about my future.
