Maybe one day when I am not so broke. I have spoke to two people about arranging things someday...it would be exciting to do it!

I think, for my longest trip (which was 12 days) I stayed at a total of three hotels; otherwise I was slept on couches, in guest rooms, with a sleeping bag, etc.

The whole trip (including hotel, gas, rental car, food) was under $1600... and this was when gas was hovering around $4/gal. My biggest, by far, expense, was gas, which was more than my rental car and hotels combined.

That sounds awesome! Right now, we can barely pay the bills though until I find a job, so even a cheap trip is one we can't afford. One of these days though. I see it as a possibility this summer perhaps.
