The deadline for this week's prompt is tomorrow. Which is why there are still so many of them missing! ;) Slackers!!!

For those of you who like to read ahead though, there are some really good ones already up there. No pressure to the slackers! ;)

In other news I treated myself to a pair of wireless earbuds today. I don't listen to much stuff unless I'm driving, but I thought they'd be nice to have when doing yard or housework. Any podcast recs?

1). "Ologies" by Alie Ward is great. (She talks to people who are experts in whatever field, like volcanology or the like — she's a great interviewer and she gets some very interesting people!)
2). "Normal Gossip" is great. Basically: take gossip, anonymize it, and share it with the masses. The stories are wild but they're generally low-stakes and very fun.
3). "Snap Judgment" is host Glynn Washington hearing stories from people who have lived interesting lives or had very strange experiences. The production quality is excellent and the stories are truly fascinating.
4). "The Moth" gets people on stage to tell stories about whatever topic they'd like. The stories are usually very compelling (they screen storytellers pretty carefully), and it makes for very interesting listening. :)

We went to brunch this morning, then Walmart, and now I'm relaxing in our unit. We are right next to the pool, so I get to listen to the pool party all day long and can sit our on our balcony to watch what's going on. I'm still working from here, but also taking some time to enjoy vacation. We are planning to go to the beach tomorrow (for as long as we can stand the heat).
