Green Room - Week 11 - Day 4
The Write Off post is up: therealljidol.dreamwidth.org/1166159.html
The new prompt is here: therealljidol.dreamwidth.org/1165556.html
And we also received some heart-wrenching news: therealljidol.dreamwidth.org/1165953.html
and that concludes our links section.

It does not however conclude me talking about Link. What did I do all weekend? Cynthia's birthday was the 15th and mine was the 28th, so the big gift to each other was to get a Ninetndo Switch so we could finally play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. She hadn't actually had any time to play it yet (she has been holding off fighting Ganon for so long in Breath of the Wild that now it's looming over her trying to get back into it.) But since I was the first one in the house to do it, I am also the first one to play ToTK and WOW, this is a beautiful and complex game. I'm barely scratching the surface and already a bit overwhelmed. We ALMOST went ahead and got this one last year... I'm glad we didn't, and instead stuck to the Wii U, because not sure how we would have fared without that as a primer.

Hmm... transition... oh, OK, speaking of online things - has anyone been noticing an uptick with AI generated responses to entries? I had someone ask me about it, and I haven't seen it here - but just let me know if you do...

Been playing Funko Fusion and also The Holy Gosh Darn (check this one out, super exciting, time loop with time travel, heaven and hell, demons and angels, super funny, cartoon art, really clever).
Funko Fusion is fun too, especially if you love all the fandoms, which I do. Gameplay is hard, but I love the Funko art style and its a good way to own Funkos without owning Funkos.

I play three online games: Wordle, Design Home, and Simcity Buildit. I had one of the most exciting days on SimCity today. I am a member of an awesome team and we were a few thousand short of the grand prize "trunk" and we just worked as a team buying stuff from each other, selling stuff to each other until we hit the goal. We played for about two hours and it was super exciting. Of course, afterwards I needed a nap. LOL!

I’ve had some ideas and was thinking I needed to write it at some point today and it just hasn’t happened. Then after lunch it completely left my mind because we’re doing a college registration event here at the moment!
And I was back at my desk for a sec trying to think of a word that was escaping me - the word I wanted was “contaminated” by the way- and the act of using my brain as a thesaurus reminded me of Idol.
I said “Oh FUCK!” out loud because I immediately glanced at the clock and thought I had just missed the deadline by two minutes! And then I looked here and the deadline is actually tomorrow… YESSSSS!!
So glad to have 24 more hours!!
