For real though - i am glad that former President is OK. I can't say "this isn't Amercia", because anyone who remembers the 60s, 70s, and into the early 80s knows better than that. But it's certainly not who we ASPIRE to be. 

Let's be who we say we are.

Foreigner here, I'm still in shock. I'm relieved to know that President Trump is alright, heartbroken for the family of the person who was killed and for those who were seriously injured.

Keep thinking about JFK. I was eight. I still remember it so clearly.

Celebrities seem to be dropping like flies. But, I'm getting old and people seem to die faster when you're older.

Shannen Doherty hit me hard as someone who had breast cancer. I try to be an advocate for this disease, and she gave so many people hope, “Shannen Doherty has stage 4 cancer and she’s thriving!” But now her death makes us wonder if that will be us one day. Well not me so much, I think I handle those fears very well, but it hits my community hard and that sucks.

Early detection is key but many younger women have no way to detect their cancer before it’s too late. I was lucky I felt mine, normally women my age don’t feel the lump that early on. More research needs to be done for detection but also treatments for stage 4 cancer, which often gets ignored by Susan G. Komen.

I was in a stand-up comedy workshop when the news that shall not be mentioned came out. Someone made a comment about "dodging a bullet" so I initially thought the whole thing was a joke. Not really the place you want to be learning about serious news!

Since a few people seemed curious about the "Skip the Small Talk" event I went to on Friday night, I'll share that it felt like a good event. I talked to a bunch of strangers one-on-one for ten minutes each. They had cards out on tables with deep questions you could discuss with each other. I ended up giving my contact info to three people, and two of them texted me already. No idea if it'll lead to future friendships, but it was a nice way to meet new people without worrying about if people would be open to talking or not.

I talked about the memoir I'm working on with a couple of people. Most of my day yesterday, when I wasn't at the workshop or going to a free comedy show at the same venue that night, was working on my memoir some more. I've added around 7,500 words to it in the last day and a half, so that's how much of a roll I'm on and why I couldn't give up that momentum in order to write an Idol entry instead. I've hit over 100K words already and I feel like I'm getting closer to the finish line with the parts I've been fleshing out and writing. There's still a lot to fill in though.

I finally took one of the free COVID-19 tests, it is past the BestUsedBy date on the box August 2022, and the Reagent: February 2024.
The T line is very strong...
Similar symptoms to the previous time I had it.
VERY Achey body / joints...

Emailed my doctors (GP and Cardiologist)
Beleive I should be OK till tomorrow, till I hear back from them.
Not working tomorrow, unless I feel quite a bit better. (I have capability of working from home... )
