Vote - Week 3
Before we get to anything else, there is the sad business of the bye-outs.
It's especially sad because there are some truly great writers in this batch, and newbies didn't get the chance to read anything from them. Which is a huge loss to the competition, and to everyone's reading enjoyment.
Leaving us this week are:

Also leaving us, with a quit (she declared a sacrifice, but didn't submit an entry, which is what a sacrifice entails, but I'll still honor the intent, more on that below) -chasing_silver
Thank you for coming out for this mini season, and I'm sorry that RL didn't end up working out for you participating. Maybe it will by the time Second Chance rolls out. Hope to see you there!
As for the rest of you, it's voting time!
The topic this week was one near and dear to most people's hearts, which is why the cut is going to be near and dear as well.
It's a CONTESTANT ONLY voting week! For those not familiar with how this works: Make sure you are a current contestant. If you do not know if you are a current contestant - ask yourself - if there were a poll right now, would my name be in that poll? Originally, it was going to be a maximum of 4 contestants would have been eliminated (depending on where the "vote break" ended up occurring, but honoring that attempted sacrifice, I've decided to make it up to 3 will be leaving us!
