So... progress on the life front. I'm ready for Christmas - I built a computer for my mom and my best friend over the weekend- that was the hard Christmas stuff (well, that and making penuche). I've decided on an apartment and as long as nothing falls through, I'm good to go there.

Much of my stuff is packed and while things are by no means settling down, I'm in OK shape- I'll be much more tired by the 2nd of January, methinks. Lots of crap to deal with, but I feel ok.

I can't wait to give my best friend Derek the computer I built for him! It's awesome! And the diamond earrings I bought for my girlfriend Jessi (stargazerkisses)! This is going to be an awesome couple of days, if I can just relax!

Cost me $400. :-) She's so totally worth it. I also bought her Bath and Body Works perfume that's discontinued- I hunted it down on the Internet. There's a calendar, $25 to the Christmas Tree Shop- her favorite shop, and three CDs that she's been saying that she wanted. I also drove 32 miles to buy fruitcake for her mom and picked up her dad's favorite candy in Rhode Island. :-)

I spend months planning and scheming my gifts when I give them. I started asking about her taste in jewelry in the summer when I brought her shopping around Rhode Island on the weekends. :-) I do that all the time- I spend forever working on my gift ideas.

My sweetie says he is bumming because I managed to get him a $WINTERHOLDIAY gift, and he has been so busy... he didn't.

I was gonna hold out for jewelry, but I think I am just glad to be able to spend some time with him without the damn crackberry going off.
