Green Room - Week 7 - Day 4

"and when push comes to shove, I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love"

I'm listening to the soundtrack of "Hamilton" for the first time this morning - and that line reminded me of Idol!

If you haven't listened to it yet ( perhaps you were under the same rock as I have been - in which case, it's MY rock, go find your own!!) go do it now! Or rather, make sure you've submitted your entry first: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/887291.html and then read ahead with what has been submitted so far (tonight is the deadline to get those entries in!) and then go find a copy of the soundtrack.

What have YOU recently discovered? Books? Music? Perhaps one of the many traps I have placed around your home?

That's really rough. I'm sorry! I hope dealing with it proves to be far less painful than you fear, and you feel better than ever soon.

The funny thing is physically, I feel great (except for some things like blurred vision and a general distaste for food). I've been exercising a bunch and eating well. I just started up again too late. Oh well. Lesson learned. Stay healthy.

My husband was just diagnosed with it about six months ago, too. He just turned 45. It sucks, but it's good to be aware of it and use it as motivation to care for yourself. Don't fall into the trap of taking better care of yourself for a month, then going back to all the old habits because you feel good enough. Not that I know anyone close to me who may have done that. *AHEM husband omg c'mon man AHEM*.... Anywho, it's understandable if you feel jarred by the news, because it's not fun to hear, for sure. I wish you only goodness and improved health from learning this news! :)
