Green Room - Week 4 Day 4

Good morning!  How is everyone today?

LJ Idol Tech Support wishes she could have taken a sick day.  (Stupid cold.)  Our fabulous host was running late this morning and asked me to post the Green Room.  Go me!

What's going on in your lives today?  I've seen a lot of buzz about the debate last night.  I didn't get to watch because I was at my other job.

What's going on in my life today?  Well, I arranged to work last night so that I could have tonight off so I can watch the Packers beat play the Cowboys tonight.  (Please, for the love of football, let them win...  please?)  I've been extra careful not to talk smack when it comes to my beloved boys in Green & Gold this year.  I don't want to run the chance of jinxing anything.  Should be a good game though!  I'm heading to a bar to watch it since it's on the NFL Network.  Cheese curds will be eaten.  Oh yes.  Cheese curds will be eaten.

That's about it for me.  I'm off to update my poll tables with the latest entries.

Speaking of entries...   post them here!  The deadline is coming up fast!  Don't make me post your name tomorrow morning.  :-)

A lot of the contestants on Project Runway this season are rather annoying. Or is it just me?

*cackling with laughter*

No kidding. I understand the industry and that the participants may be given to a bit of dramatic flair. But enough already, just shut up and sew. My best friend told me that I should try to go on the show because I make a lot of my own clothes. But I don't think I could ever handle the drama. When that much angst and attitude flairs in my vicinity, I just turn a cold shoulder and nothing bothers me. But with that much of it whirling around...I don't know how easy that would be.

In the last half an hour, I had two people suggest I try out for the show, based on my brag books (which are by no means, complete).

I don't know if I could handle the stress... but perhaps with enough Xanax...

*laughing*

See, I find sewing to be quite comforting. The stress would be the high-strung people irritating the hell out of me.

I just want to take a pair of scissors to that awful hairdo he has! GAH.

But seriously? I'm glad Carmen went home. Her clothes last night were a DISASTER.

I actually liked that while jacket that Victorya made. John said that he'd wear it! lol

Christian is the kind of person that you just want to punch in the face. Kind of like Sara Jessica Parker.

Ohhh...I was wondering who got auf'd! I fell asleep right before the runway show began. I woke up during the repeat. There was no way I could stay awake to watch the whole thing, so I went to bed.

I think Christian likes to be annoying.

I've been taking Lexapro for years for anxiety.

they say that the side effects go away in ~2wks. I hope it works for you.

I couldn't take it (was on for "fibro"*). :| But I don't take anything any more, so yay.

*sceptical of dx, not condition.

I managed to go three weeks on Lexapro before insisting on something else.

Wellbutrin literally saved my life.

we used to be on wellbutrin...once Paxil totally fucked up our system that was the next big miracle thing they put us on...(this is for the ADHD)...

Only thing I really liked about wellbutrin was that we lost 10-15 lbs taking on it. But it didn't really work as well as ritalin far as helping us focus...
