Green Room - Week 4 Day 4

Good morning!  How is everyone today?

LJ Idol Tech Support wishes she could have taken a sick day.  (Stupid cold.)  Our fabulous host was running late this morning and asked me to post the Green Room.  Go me!

What's going on in your lives today?  I've seen a lot of buzz about the debate last night.  I didn't get to watch because I was at my other job.

What's going on in my life today?  Well, I arranged to work last night so that I could have tonight off so I can watch the Packers beat play the Cowboys tonight.  (Please, for the love of football, let them win...  please?)  I've been extra careful not to talk smack when it comes to my beloved boys in Green & Gold this year.  I don't want to run the chance of jinxing anything.  Should be a good game though!  I'm heading to a bar to watch it since it's on the NFL Network.  Cheese curds will be eaten.  Oh yes.  Cheese curds will be eaten.

That's about it for me.  I'm off to update my poll tables with the latest entries.

Speaking of entries...   post them here!  The deadline is coming up fast!  Don't make me post your name tomorrow morning.  :-)

See, now I have to stop on my way home and get cheese curds - haven't had those things in years!

Oh yeah, Good morning! I actually have work to do today, which is kinda nice. I had to go make some students very happy this morning - they actually showed up for their 8:00 class and the prof has a sick child and can't make it in until this afternoon. So I took up their papers and sent them home =) Now I get to address envelopes and create a PowerPoint. I have such a glamorous job! =)

I think they were pretty happy to see me - some of them got an extra hour or so to get their paper in =D I doubt Kevin would've taken the papers so late but well, he wasn't here and I'm in a good mood so I thought I'd be nice to them for a change ;)

*g* When that would happen (class cancelled in the morning), we'd all go to the dining hall for breakfast. Drat, now I'm hungry for eggs, bacon, belgian waffles, and toast. Oy.

I heard one of the guys say "Hey, let's go drink some beer." O_O For breakfast?!?! Bleargh!

Hitting the cafeteria would've been nice though =) They're building a new right right across the street from the office so I might have a chance to run over there for breakfast in the near future. Woot! They're making a lot of progress on it - might even be ready by the middle of the spring semester =)

That's one thing I miss about college... Not having to prepare my own food!
