Green Room - Week 4 Day 4

Good morning!  How is everyone today?

LJ Idol Tech Support wishes she could have taken a sick day.  (Stupid cold.)  Our fabulous host was running late this morning and asked me to post the Green Room.  Go me!

What's going on in your lives today?  I've seen a lot of buzz about the debate last night.  I didn't get to watch because I was at my other job.

What's going on in my life today?  Well, I arranged to work last night so that I could have tonight off so I can watch the Packers beat play the Cowboys tonight.  (Please, for the love of football, let them win...  please?)  I've been extra careful not to talk smack when it comes to my beloved boys in Green & Gold this year.  I don't want to run the chance of jinxing anything.  Should be a good game though!  I'm heading to a bar to watch it since it's on the NFL Network.  Cheese curds will be eaten.  Oh yes.  Cheese curds will be eaten.

That's about it for me.  I'm off to update my poll tables with the latest entries.

Speaking of entries...   post them here!  The deadline is coming up fast!  Don't make me post your name tomorrow morning.  :-)

Yep...
atleast there is no snow yet so I guess that's a small little itty bitty plus. When the snow comes then I am really going to be cold and cranky

I need to get some better gloves. My fingers about fell off when the train finally came this morning. Brr. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

Same here as well, I think it's going to be on my weekend to do list.
It's going to be a cold wait for the bus tonight after class.

O.K. I don't think it is nice of me to chime in and say "Hey...we're expecting a high of 68 today!" but, next August, when it is 109 degrees again, then y'all can chuckle at my expense.

Emaline, I just wanted to say I love your icons - I think I am going to go make faces for the camera to use also. Can you ever forgive me for borrowing your idea?

You're sweet.
As long as the 6 bzillion people I stole the idea from can forgive me somehow, I suppose I'll forgive you as well.

And you can call me Paige if you'd like :)

I know I've seen some others, but you have a LOT! And they are cute :) So, I wanna do it too. My faves are the ones people have posted here they are really laughing - those make me grin.

I would take 109 anyday over a cold winter. Cold sucks and heat isn't that great either but I prefer to deal with the heat.

Me too! It's easier to cool off than it is to to warm. IMHO!

I actually have to agree. I can't imagine having to bundle my kids until they look like the Michelin man every time we stepped outside. It's tough enough to wrestle them into hoodies!

A friend of mine likes the cold better though. She says "When I'm cold I can always put on a sweater. When I'm hot, it's not like I can peel off my skin!"

That statement brought back childhood memories of feeling like the Micheling man waddling to the school bus stop because I had so many darn things on to stay warm.

My fiance prefers the cold to the heat which drives me batty but to each their own I guess.

I'm kind of the opposite. Snow makes the bitter cold at least somewhat bearable.

Never really been a fan of the snow so I think for me it's why it makes me more cranky.

Even though living in Minnesota my whole, I just never have been a fan of the cold and snow, just winter in general depresses the heck out of me.
