Green Room - Week 11 - Day 5

I’m sure that if I tried, I could come up with something clever take on the “news of the day” or just mock the lot of you. But today is a little different for me, because really only one thing is on my mind.

Today is my second anniversary with my girlfriend. Since I can’t seem to wipe the smile off my face, I figured “Why bother trying?”

At the end of what turned out to be our first date, I walked her to her car and she gave me a hug. I remember that hug, and just how amazing it felt. I remember *thinking* how amazing it felt. What I didn’t find out until several weeks later, was that I had actually muttered “Oh my god” OUT LOUD!

Once I found out, her nervous laugh and “You’re so cute” made a lot more sense with the context! : )

What have *you* forgot to use your “inside the head” voice on, and accidentally let out into the universe? What was the reaction?

Nothing can ever top the nerdiness of that one thread Porn and I had last season about Star Trek. I still have the link somewhere. And there is still a reference to that shitty Darmok episode that I probably need to take out of my book when I rewrite the ending. :D

Wait, what? Really? I made this icon ages ago (like in 2005 or some shit) for a contest in hogwarts_elite. Did you used to be a member over there, or was this ridiculous thing actually making the rounds at some point?

I think it made the rounds all over the place. I didn't participate a lot in fandoms on lj at that time. Hell, I was still in high schoolat that time. I saw someone else with it and ganked it, lol.
