NaNoWritMoOrDie - Second deadline
Did you make the first deadline? No?
Sorry, you have been eliminated from NaNo… what do you mean they don’t eliminate people??? I’m going to eliminate people anyway!! :D
At random! Why? Because it’s fun that way. Guy walking down the street wearing your headphones – YOU HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!!!
If you met the first deadline- kudos!
There, now you have received the pat on the back that you have craved since childhood!
Now get back to work you slackers!
Those who didn’t – well, maybe you will hit the next one!
You have until Wednesday November 7th at 11:59 EST to write 6,250 MORE WORDS! So get to it!

I already replaced a real name I was using. I had been calling a character "Erica Millner," which is sort of horrible in that the character is a terrible person, and Erica Millner is a master jeweler at Mio Studios in my town. But! Now she's got the forename of my husband's co-worker, and the surname of some random person commented to by someone on my Facebook feed. So no jewelers are being insulted by proxy in any novellas, at least on my street.

Yep, that's more than fine. I'm just "encouraging" people with their efforts. The numbers that I'm giving are roughly the minimum every three days to get them to the "official count" of 50,000 words - for those who want to get there.
