I'm glad the initial news was good.

Do you perhaps have swelling in the eyes? That can cause visual problems. Knowing why there's swelling is a whole different question, but the "what" can be treated in the meantime, if that's it.

No, no sign of swelling. One theory is that it could be a *BAD* case of allergies, though-- the membranes behind the eye are swelling up and gently pushing against the eyeball.
