Green Room - Week 31 - Day 2

I was thinking this morning about how, given that it's a Final 3 and there are 4 contestants available, with two of them being guys, that we are guaranteed to have our second male contestant in the finals, and one of them at very least tying the best performance by a male during an Idol season ever!

Up until now - the winners have fit a pretty clear profile - white, female Americans. Most people know this. What might not be completely on your radar though is that there has also been a "kids pattern" - no, yes, no, yes, no, yes.

Which means regardless of what happens in the finals one of these "Idol Truths" is about to be broken.

A guy could win. A damn foreigner could win. Or, maybe someone with kids will break that pattern.

http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/479084.html is where the entries will go that will help determine what is going to happen next, and who those 3 contestants are going to be!!

Or, as I like to say, one of these four is one step away from having a really good excuse why they won't sign up next season! :P

Having kids and managing a relationship (or the two together) mean that if you want to do something, you have to really want to do it, and you are more likely to make the time.

Yes, this. I'll admit I get a bit tense and freaked out about how much I need to do, but I'm a lot better at organising time than I was before children. And despite his apparent dismissiveness about Idol and its importance, whenever it came to the crunch and I was freaking out, M was understanding, supportive and patient.

Mind you, if I had to work AS WELL... I'd probably still be able to do it, but I'm not sure I'd be happy with the quality of my writing. I would likely be eliminated even earlier in the season.
