Down to the wire and a handful of votes between in and out, and the second elimination being decided by *1* vote! Was it yours?

Since day 1 I've been saying that eventually everyone but 1 person is going to be eliminated. That feels more real every elimination.

Today we are saying goodbye to two extremely talented writers - who made it to 4th and 5th out of 241 contestants!!!

5th place - theafaye (who may be coming in first really really soon in her personal race! :D)
4th place - fourzoas

Hopefully we will continue to see you around for the remainder of the season to see how this shakes out (and back here next time???)

I CALL SHENANIGANS!!!!

I've waited WEEKS to be able to say that!

Now wouldn't it make great Idol legend if I could say that my waters broke when I read the news??! Alas, I'm still pregnant, so there goes that idea.

I shall do an official goodbye post on my LJ which will be f-locked, so I did just want to say that if anyone has wanted to friend me but thought I was too scary to ask, feel free to add because if you can't make new friends at the end of your Idol run, when can you?

To be honest, I'm more sad to see fourzoas beside me than I am at my own elimination. I genuinely thought she produced the best entries out of the people who aren't me and she would have been my pick to go through if I could only choose one person. And I'm a little bit sad that you will all miss my plan for next week, which was to build on the genius strategy of drafting in a home gamer and work with onda_bianca, drjeff, joeymichaels, zia_narratora and rm to create one big glorious intersection mash up! So instead I'm going to throw all my support behind Talon for the win - I've championed him in the past when he's been close to the wire so it's no secret he's been a favourite of mine for quite some time. It would be great to see a man finally take the title and he's most certainly deserving.

It's genuinely been an absolute blast. Thanks to everyone who read, regardless of whether they voted or not and I'm glad to be able to say that at least I went out earning that much coveted LOL. Circumstances permitting, I'll definitely be back next time round and you can all play spot the Thea because I have plans for a fair few IDs to weave words around different themes.

My only issue is going to be which one to go with. Because now I have quite a few ideas and there's no way I'll be able to do ALL of them. Guess I'll just have to save some for season 8 :oP
