FYI - It's week 21 and I believe everyone knows this, but just in case you don't - you *don't have to* post the name of the topic as part of your entry. I know a lot of people do. But it's by no means mandatory. If you just wanted to put "Hyperbole" that would be fine as well for those out there going "do I really have to post THAT!" :)

Anyone doing anything special today - other than hanging out online in the Green Room of course, which is the most special thing EVER!!!! (even more special than hyperbole!!!)

Nothing special here. Organizing the chaos that is my room again (as I just brought a van load of more stuff home...but still not furniture). But, now that I have the actual measurements of the furniture pieces I'm bringing over (someday), I'm able to map that out. And I think I might just have won the game of furniture tetris.

Now I need to get back to work (I may get a weekend off in July at this point). No chocolate here, but I am going to try to hit some 50% off sales tomorrow. :)

I am headed over to my aunts and uncle's house later tonight; however, this morning dad made me french toast and bacon for easter this morning. My sister got lillies and chocolate. I got my goodies from her last week, though. Our house is in chaos as dad is ripping the master bedroom and bathroom apart to re-do everything while mother is away until June.

I can't belive I saw the green room first thing this morning when I opened up LJ!

I just got back from church. It was kind of nice to be back, and what better day to return than Easter? :D

I think I've finally got a grasp on this week's topic. And luckily, I actually have an idea that will go well with it this week, so I'm excited. I should probably be able to get it written tomorrow.

In other news, homework, homework, and more homework. Joy. And I should be posting a weekly links post this afternoon after I get all of my Geometry and English done.

I went for a walk to explore unchartered territory, crossed a park, and wound up God knows where. Kept walking. Nothing familiar. Could either go back the way I come or keep going. Kept going. After an hour, I wound up somehow behind our local shops. So yes, I took an hour to get five minutes from home!

I have had one chocolate egg. And we keep staring at an Australian chocolate bilby. It's a big chunk of chocolate, but it's too cute to unwrap and eat!

I posted my entry and find myself disliking it, but I feel better when I read Gary's introduction of the topic. Maybe I should make everyone read Gary's intro. heh

We are up to NOTHING today. I just went out and grabbed a dozen donuts. Ironically, we may eat some while watching old episodes of The Biggest Loser. :)

It's a nice, sunny, lazy day today. I'm enjoying it.

Yesterday, I went to the Ithaca Sciencenter again and surprised the girls by not telling them that their Grandma would be there. They came home with nice Easter baskets. :)

Mornin' Folks... been a very leisurely morning 'round Chez Java this morning. Lots of coffee, music, mellowness and lots of spattin' with the feline companion who seems to have a fondness for slapping me for no reason... the parentals are coming over for Bunny Day dinner in a while. Gotta humiliate pops on the Wii, so that should be fun.

I slept later than I had planned this morning. So I'm doing a quick internet check and then I'm off to the theatre. (Well I'll get dressed first.) I really wonder how many people are going to come to the show on Easter.

And it's gray out and supposed to rain later so any hope of my getting a walk today may be out the window. The bed was very warm though.

I have a well deserved sunburn from 4 hours of yard work today. Husband and I finally dealt with a drainage issue that we learned of *last* April, the week after I broke my shoulder.

We also made our weekend-warrior plans for the next couple of weeks. It should be interesting...

Now to enjoy some iced tea, write a poem, and allow my bangs to lighten up a few shades.

Hi! I'm waiting for the bus back to the city by way of Boston. Had a great weekend and have a sunburn to show for it.

2 out of 4 children threw up yesterday which means that we got the ratio of chocolate:child about right :oP Since we have to buy them special expensive gluten/dairy free eggs and I didn't do it myself sooner, they didn't have enough to have one on their bed when they woke up but they soon perked up when they got to do an Easter Egg hunt after breakfast.

Now it's 10am on Monday, since our clocks went back over the weekend, and I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with myself.

Went out to lunch with minikin & family at a Country Cookin' buffet. It was ok, nothing really special.

Hubby and I have exchanged Easter baskets this morning after he got home from work - I got him a variety of Easter candy that he likes, plus The Incredible Hulk on BluRay DVD (the case is green!) as well as season one of Scarecrow & Mrs King. He got me some sugar-free candy (did you know they make SF Peeps??) and some regular candy in my basket, PLUS the *edible* Easter grass that I recall seeing at The Cracker Barrel a few weeks ago. It tastes sorta vaguely strawberry (it's pink), but at least I don't have to worry if the cats get into it, yanno? He also got me Sherlock Holmes (the new one) on DVD, and a cute pink plushy chick. =)

This evening, minikin (et al) is coming over and we're grilling out, since it's such a wonderful evening for it - hamburgers and kielbasa, and I've made a fruit salad and fresh guacamole, and bought some potato salad and coleslaw. They're bringing cupcakes for dessert, and should be here in about an hour. =)

I brought home many exciting things, but none of them were candy.

Oh, and I *finally* figured out how to make my heater work, so it is no longer 61 degrees in my new home.

I'm late and still mourning my Spring Break. I anticipated the inevitable and already purchased a caffeinated beverage for the am. Way to go me.

Meanwhile, I made the prettiest Easter basket ever and it was well received.

Otherwise, I often feel more mixed up than the fruitiest of fruity drinks.

I hope to be able to write my entry tomorrow...we'll see how I'm holding up though.
