Green Room - Week 10 - Day 7

Happy MLK Day.

(and no, people in Alabama, Arkansas and Mississippi - the rest of the country DOES NOT celebrate it as MLK/Robert E Lee Day, that's your "special" thing.)

How better to celebrate the life of one of the greatest civil rights leaders the world has ever seen then to wait for Gatekeeper votes to come in!!! He would truly be honored. :)

So, how are you doing? Do you have the day off or do you have a dream about being not at work right now?

Do you have any other dreams? Anything about Idolers? ;)

edit to add MOST of the Gatekeeper votes are in. I am still waiting on a few more. They have until 9 pm EST. Of course I will keep things open a little longer until I am finished with the official tally. Some people *like* to give me heart attacks by waiting until last minute... ;)

Chained to my desk today, which will inevitably be a good thing. I have some stacks that I need to plow through by week's end.

Although it is a sad day in my house. My husband, the Cowboys fan, is sulking today. I would, too, if my hometown team got frickin' TROUNCED.

Hey, the Jets are still in and the Saints are still in and that is all I care about!

I did some time in NOLA so I am excited for the Saints that they're still in.

When the Saints played the Cowboys, my FB status page blew up like CRAZY. All of my friends who live there and went to undergrad there were pumped as were my friends from Dallas.

I thought it best to keep my mouth shut for that one. :)

I can NOT believe my little underdog Jets are a Superbowl contender this year. Boggles the mind.

WHO DAT?!

Hey, tell your husband it could have been worse... he could be, like me, a devout Raider fan... two-decades of misery hurts more than one playoff loss. lol...

Us Bills fans don't want to hear about misery. Four consecutive years of "runner up" is a bitter pill to swallow.

LOL... yeah, I'm guessing the words "Wide Right" strike an unpleasant chord with you. But hey... at least you all *made* it to the big dance... 4 years in a row. Try sucking for two decades and see how bitter *that* pill is... I was like an infant the last time my boys won anything. lol...

Also, in the hockey world, we are fond of "no goal" and "foot in the crease"

As far as making it four years in a row...

Picture having sex with someone, and getting right up to the moment of orgasm, and then someone throws hot cat piss in your face.

Yeah, that's how we feel.

Oh in the hockey world, I'm particularly fond of a "the stick is too curved." Bleh! Fuckers.

LMAO... wow. That is quite the visual. I just don't know which is worse though... that or not having sex with anybody other than yourself at all! That's a question to contemplate. At least you had a little foreplay and some moments of joy there... instead of that hollow, empty feeling of going home alone at the end of the night... again and again and again and again...
