It's CLOSE. So you had better make sure your favorite stays. Honestly, I happen to like both of them. I'll be frank that there are still some folks that I haven't gotten a very good "take" on yet. Not that their writing isn't good, just that I personally haven't had a chance to get a feel for who they are yet.

But the two of them aren't in that group. So it's going to be bad either way it turns out as far as I am concerned. The more weeks go by, the harder it is going to be to say goodbye to people - and the closer some of these races are going to get.

Awww, y'all are so sweet! Today's not much of an interesting birthday for me. My husband has to work all day and then I have an exam in the evening. :( So we went out for sushi last night. It was yummy.

My hope is that I've dodged the birthday curse by a day. Actually writing an entry might help with that. Hmm.

Hello Green Room!

1. I haven't been chatting in the green rooms very much and haven't really been very friendly in the Idol competition, which in retrospect seems not-very-nice of me. Also stupid, given that I am continually bored at my job and am therefore always looking for new people to chat with and new ways to waste my employer's time. Hello everybody! Would anybody like to be my friend?

2. I actually just emailed Gary about this, but my understanding is that he's a busy man, so I thought I'd throw it out there in the green room as well. I just made my post for the week, and now, not to put too fine a point on it, I hate it. It was an old post on my other journal and I came across it the other day and thought it was funny for election season, but of course within five minutes of posting it it didn't seem so anymore, and now I totally want to take it down and am totally afraid that that would be way against the rules and horrible. I mean, I think I read somewhere that you can change your posts until Friday, but if I'm mistaken I sure don't want to get kicked. Anyone know anything about the rules here?

I have discovered a new cash-saving economy today! You can get refills on 44 oz. Super Big Gulp sodas at 7-11 for 99 cents, which stands in stark contrast to spending like $1.60 or whatever it is for a 20-ounce bottled soda. So I saved a 20 oz. Diet Coke bottle and got a 44 oz. Diet Coke from 7-11, and now I will drink half of that, save the other half in the sealed 20 oz. bottle so it won't go flat, drink that tomorrow, and then I can get refills every other day and keep the system going and get my daily Coke for 50 cents instead of $1.60! This is very exciting.

Written out, that is seriously the most boring story in the history of ever. Wow. I was so proud of it though.
