My day today is going to involve mostly things I don't want to do - unlinking my social security records with Michael's, finding a solicitor and more job and apartment searching.

I am actually at work today, even though I'm going on very little sleep. Drove here in rain & snow. That was exciting. I'm at the point where I'm fine with it snowing, it just needs to start snowing enough that I don't have to drive in to work.

So sorry your head feels bad. I get migraines sometimes and they are misery. Good luck with it.

For some temporary relief, you can grab a handful of hair at the nape of your neck or right over your ears and gently pull. It is an old acupressure trick that really makes it feel better for a few seconds!

I'm home today, and thinking I will probably continue to be home since I have a sick baby and sick husband, STILL.

Happy Read Across America Day! Everyone grab a book, or magazine or newspaper and cuddle up with some reading time today!

Other than my teen "Read In" tonight, I had an 8:30 appt with a new "primary care physician." Yay, lab testing. You know, I have had two kids - one of them with no anesthesia at all - and I am still freaked to have a little blood drawn.

As for the doctor, she seemed pretty cool, although she didn't say goodbye - just "My assistant will be in to take you over to the lab in a moment." Then she was gone. I guess doctors are just too busy to be snuggly these days?

I have very few snuggly doctors anymore, though I must say that my pulmonologist was very caring when I was scared out of my wits to go to the hospital by myself for the CT last week. Come to think of it, she always meets me at the front desk while I am checking out, makes sure I make a new appointment, and says goodbye. I guess that's rare these days.
