New prompt has been posted.  Anyone have immediate ideas? Anyone struggling?  Anyone planning on staying in their house until they come up with an idea? 

The results from last week were posted as well as a sacrifice to avoid a mass write off  One interesting fact about drippedonpaper’s sacrifice that wasn’t mentioned last night - she’s getting close to 100 Weeks   

At a time when a few others have been celebrated for their accomplishment, she opted to step aside for others   There’s not an award for that, but deserves to be recognized

The bus is almost to the giraffe enclosure so I’m going to hit “post” on this. Happy Friday Eve.

That "Garden" entry tho' dripped is a rock star.

Definitely, not a talent that should have a run interrupted so soon. This contest is always tough, but usually the really good writers can "find their way" for a few weeks. Not so this time.

Sacrifices are always sad, but especially bittersweet in this case. It was very selfless of drippedonpaper to do, and I know if I was in the write-off again, I'd be thankful. But it's also a shame to lose someone to a sacrifice. This has been a tough season for sure.

I missed the sacrifice, I’ll have to go back to that post. Sorry to see her go, she’s an amazing writer and one of the kindest people I’ve known.

I have an idea for the prompt. It actually fits into a short story idea I got a few days ago but didn’t know how to start it. The prompt helped me figure out the angle a bit more, so hopefully it comes together in time. I’ll admit that I’m struggling to find a lot of time to write right now. I also feel bad that I haven’t been responding to comments or commenting on other’s posts as much. I keep saying “once things calm down…” but then things don’t calm down. I’ll try to be better though, I know I love comments so I want to be sure to comment on other’s posts too.

Close to 100 weeks, though... did she play under another name at LJ, or in previous seasons on Dreamwidth? Because that's a lot of entries, and I like to think I wasn't out of it for THAT long. "Only" 2 1/2 years...

No immediate ideas for the prompt. I think it fits with my current Aisling & Ember series, but folks may be getting tired of that by now, lol.

I think I’ll just rock out with my Skillet albums and ponder some more. 🤷🏻‍♀️

One thing I will say- being in attempted rest/recovery mode for Covid and the bright big moon of late have resulted in some mega weird dreams for me lately. Maybe one will be perfect inspiration. I haven’t had any literal dream inspired pieces this season, but maybe one will come to pass.
