Gregory Peck from To Kill A Mockingbird. He was tall, I still am. He had dark hair and so did I, until it turned grey. He's dead and I will be dead some day. The resemblance is uncanny. As to music, there are just too many songs. Right now The Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps is playing in my head, so I'll have to go with that right now.

This weekend, our youngest was going with a group of friends to see Deadpool and Wolverine, and convinced myself and Lizbeth to come along. I suspect I'll be flamed here for saying this, but Lizbeth and I were not impressed. I'll admit, the Spock line made me laugh, but otherwise, not so much.

One of the favorite songs in my rotation right now is The Best Is Yet To Come by Sheppard.

I honestly doubt I'd have any trouble getting any of the songs I'd want on my ost. One I def want is Chaz Jankel's - Number 1. Best known from the 80s film REAL GENIUS.

I was thinking the entire Skaarsgard family alternating as different facets of me would make for a cool film, my movie would probably try to use as much footage of me that exists though as well.

My music would either be Swan Lake or Led Zeppelin's "When The Levee Breaks" (so similar!), and realistically speaking, the movie of me would star Susan Sarandon.

But would there be anything like a plot?

Ooh, I don't know. I used to think that Jodie Foster could play me, even though we look nothing alike but we're close in age. She was never comic/klutzy/awkward like I was back in the day, but I figured I could stretch her into other genres. I would probably pass on her now. I can't think of an alternative off the top of my head.

As for music, I've always been partial to TSO's "Wizards of Winter" ;)

There are too many good tunes to mention for a soundtrack but they need to be "dancy", and upbeat. I have no idea who would/could play me. I like Kizzy's idea of Jodie Foster. When my husband was a lot younger people always said he looked like (much younger) Tom Hanks. (think TH in the 80s). He could be my co-star.

I've been told I resemble Candace Bergen or Mindy Cohn, but I'm not overly fond of either of them. I'm not British, but I would love for Emma Thompson to play me. :)

As for music, it would have to include "Volcano" and maybe "Off to See the Lizard" by Jimmy Buffett, as well as a number of ballroom dance songs, particularly tango.

Jason Segel could play my husband.

I actually made a Summer 2024 playlist this year! I haven’t made a new playlist in forever. But this one was necessary to commemorate what I am thinking of as “The Summer of Rakish Angles.” Last summer was “Feral Family Summer” so I feel like we’ve moving up in the world, at least. Some songs from it that need to be in my movie are Jimmy Buffett’s Close Calls from his final album and Incommunicado. But his The Weather is Here I Wish You Were Beautiful would also absolutely be necessary.

We saw Deadpool and Wolverine this weekend. I liked it but it’s about 30 minutes of plot and the rest is bloody fight scenes, lol.

Also?? I’m over 1000 words so far on this week’s entry…I think I’ll have it done by 1300 or so. FYI, I think my typical entry is in the 400-700 words range. Whee!

I would've said 15, but I didn’t exactly time it. I think I would've been okay with it until they abandoned their newly made friends from other universes in the Void. Not a particularly super hero-like thing to do IMHO. (shrug) Plus, Deadpool was a tad rough on bystanders.
