Just a normal everyday weekend here in the US.

Oh, Richard Simmons died. That was sad... Dr Ruth, Shannon Doherty...

Hmmm... what else...

That's pretty big news, all around the world!

For real though - i am glad that former President is OK. I can't say "this isn't Amercia", because anyone who remembers the 60s, 70s, and into the early 80s knows better than that. But it's certainly not who we ASPIRE to be. 

Let's be who we say we are. 
 
(especially those of you who say they aree damn foreigners. Be that instead!!!  ;) )

Foreigner here, I'm still in shock. I'm relieved to know that President Trump is alright, heartbroken for the family of the person who was killed and for those who were seriously injured.

Keep thinking about JFK. I was eight. I still remember it so clearly.

Celebrities seem to be dropping like flies. But, I'm getting old and people seem to die faster when you're older.

My heart truly goes out to those families who suffered because they happened to be seated behind Trump, a position they probably thought of as an honor. The whole thing is so tragic. If he hadn't turned his head at that moment, he would probably be dead.

I don't like anything that he stands for, but no one should be assassinated.
