HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, G! You know what's weird? This is MY LJ anniversary, too! 17 years. Sheesh.

I've happily wasted my time here. When I think of the number of Idol pieces I've had published, well, worth every single useless moment. LOL.

Congrats!! That’s a lot of years, prompts, polls, and people! You’ve inspired so many of us to push ourselves to be better writers. Even those of us who haven’t tried to publish anything have written far more than we otherwise would have without you, so thank you for that. Hugs!

Happy Idol-versary!! Those first few years of Idol I spent mostly watching other people on my friends list post their entries, being too scared to show my writing to anyone, but I am so glad I finally worked up the courage to try for myself! I've written so many things I never would have written without this community and met so many people I never would have met.

I know the future of Idol is uncertain, but thank you for everything you've given us over these years. It means a lot, and I'm so happy it's here!

I'm a total newbie here still but I have had a LJ for nearly 19 years, so yeah :) Thank you for doing what you do!

I played a few times a long time ago but burned out pretty quickly. I'm glad that these last few runs I've been able to hang in there and see it through to the end. I hope that Idol continues going forward, and I would love to continue being a part of it. It's really helped me out through some tough personal times and has given me the impetus to actually write, which I'm bad about doing outside of Idol. Thank you for everything, Gary. :)
