they're reserving the right to delete any account which hasn't been used for 6 months or more. I'm thinking that might not be a bad thing, considering that a good chunk of people who left LJ probably aren't returning, so there's reason to "clear the dead wood", so to speak. I agree. Also I know there are people who hoard usernames but never use the journals, which honestly seems so pointless to me.
