Sometimes a contestant only vote is a blow out, and sometimes it's one of those exciting horseraces where someone pulls ahead by a nose coming around that last bend. Which makes it exciting for me, but it does mean that I have to get out the camera and capture that photo finish!

This was more of the latter. There were a few people who I thought would end up taking it, but in the end, the Veterans ended up with exactly the same as the Newbies, in a TIE!

Which means that there will be two Veterans getting the advantage as well. Which should really shake up the game from the onset, having four of something where I originally thought there would only be two!

And here it is, a situation where I congratulate the winners, and am very grateful I did not win :-)

Polls are evil and stressful. I don't look at them after I vote until they close, or try to, at least for my tribe. Keeping track of who is at the bottom to use the immunity on time, that would be right horrible.

While I am very grateful to have won, immunity is definitely a two-edged sword. In order to use it, someone who earned the right to keep playing will have to be sacrificed, and that does not sit well with me.
