I'm listening to the soundtrack of "Hamilton" for the first time this morning - and that line reminded me of Idol!

There was a wide variety! I dithered a long time between chocolate chip and lemon poppy seed. Mmmm tasty.

I would dearly love it if people would stop putting poppy seed in lemon things. I've never seen the point of that!

:D Or nasty, depending on your POV. They're little "flatness" bombs that destroy the taste of good things.

Plus, they always wind up stuck in people's teeth. :O

Taste is such a weird thing - I mean, I love it, that there are so many different tastes (literally and literary) but it is always interesting to figure out how one person's "oo yum" or "this is awesome" translates to another person's "ugh" and "meh".

They never get stuck in my teeth. Maybe I have lucky teeth? It's a lousy super power, if it is one.
