-Chemistry, esp. inorganic/organometallic synthesis but I feel pretty comfortable at this point going, "yeah, chemistry" -Toxicology -Physics, esp. solid-state physics (methods of conduction, band diagrams, etc), classical mechanics, and QM -Graduate school (how the acceptance process works, what pay and whatnot are usually like, what the requirements are to progress) -Patent law -What it takes to get a startup going
