Yesterday's Great Turkey brought us lots of travel time, but also great company and a chocolate cream pie that was to die for. First real sugar splurge since September, so back on the wagon now, but damn-- it tasted chocolatey, instead of like that artificially-chocolate stuff you get at diners/restaurants/the frozen food section. Wow.

I was hoping for more Black Friday cyber-buys today, but looking through the amazon toys to donate for kids... meh. The current crop of toys is too merchandise-based and boring. Not enough "play" in the playsets. Where's the mondo multi-construction-vehicle playset I bought last year, huh? Huh?

ETA: also, am I the only one who looks at a toy, like a deep-sea diving ship with a creature inside, and thinks, "That could be weirder..." ?
