I usually link my entry once I have the bones in place. It means some people may read different versions of the same story. I try not to mod a story while the poll is up. If voting is active, I consider that knives down and walk away.

But I edit after polls close. Because screw all y'all - I'm getting the story right, good lord willin' and the creek don't rise.
