I've been in the supermarket baking biz for almost 25 years. You name it, I've probably baked it at some point. I've also been a pastry chef. The latter is a more creative gig but the former pays the bills :) I also decorate cakes. I don't do a whole lot of baking at home, unfortunately, because there's hardly ever enough people around to eat whatever I make.
It's fun, very body breaking, and can steal your soul if you let it. I've always said that if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't still be doing it :)
