Time is running short, and I can already hear the vans arriving to get into this place to scrub it down during the off season.

I hope they brought a lot of cleaning solution. Some of these stains aren’t going to come out easily.

*nods* I understand not wanting to cause drama or hurt feelings. That's never what I'm after: I very much like to get along with people, and it bothers me deeply to think I hurt someone. Which is part of why all the cryptic stuff bugs me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets insecure and says "is it me? Did I do something? What did I do?"

I'd always rather speak to someone directly and personally about a problem or hurt feelings (and either resolve things or not - usually I have good luck resolving problems by being direct, though) and then not say anything at all in public rather than reference things sideways.

Though I made it to the top 10 in s8, I was pretty clueless about any drama there, too. I tend to be a little oblivious about subtleties. So this is me saying "hey, if I did something shitty, please let me know. We'll talk about it." Clues and hints will always pass me by.

There are people who think that I shouldn't post things if I'm not going to "spell it out".

There are as many people who don't "get it" even when I do. :)

Heck, there are a few cases when I've referenced something else entirely and people completely made up their own drama about what it was about! Ultimately, I'm going to write about what I am feeling at the moment, and try to tie it into a bigger framework. If so and so did something stupid, having an entry about so and so doesn't really help anyone. If it gets bad enough, I'll deal with it.

But pointing out how "this sort of action" can impact other people, that is something people can apply to their own lives.

All of which is odd, considering how little people attention people tend to pay to "what the Green Room is about" in their race for the frist!

Well, in defense of ... well, everyone ... they all do listen to you. They may need to get their frist out of the way first, but they do listen. And because you Speak With Authority From, Yea, Atop The Mountain, folks get nervous when you mumble. ;-)

Of course, sometimes people don't listen regardless, so, meh. Keep doin' what you're doin'.
