To be fair, I did say that I fucking hated him, which is strong for me, and I feel kinda bad about now that I've calmed down a bit.

And I suppose onlookers could get confused and take it literally, since people are all the time deciding I mean things I don't actually mean anyway, and it gets worse when I'm, uh, agitated.

But people who know me understand that if I meant it literally, I'd never have said it in those words or in that venue. With me, if I'm all blustery with exclamation points and curse words, I'm not in "literally hate you" mode. When you have to worry is when my language gets all precise and contained.
