I want to, but my stupid ass apartment complex charges all these dumbass fees - a pet fee, which is non-refundable, a pet deposit, which you may or may not get back, and pet rent every month, which is utter shit and a total scam, because really? If I had a human roommate, my rent wouldn't go up, but if I get a four-legged one, it does? What the fuck do they need the money for, to make sure my cat has a parking space and a gate key? Fuck that noise. Besides, I'm trying to save up money right now to pursue my life's greatest dream - getting the fuck out of this miserable shithole state for good. Once Texas is nothing but a distant traumatic memory, my next goal can be collecting kitties.
