Idol is a family, and like any other family, there's always a cousin you aren't looking forward to seeing as much as the others, or an uncle you wish would come around more often. And then there are the big holiday dinners, where some uncomfortable something is going to come up.
Except our holiday dinners are every day, and they're called Green Rooms, and if you put it in that kind of perspective, we really do pretty well.
And if people get their panties in a twist from time to time and go off to the back porch to cuss about their asshole cousin, they're still family, and they're still at the family gathering, until they decide they're going to beg off "because they have to work that weekend."
And even when they do, you're still going to love them, because you give a shit, which was the point of the post in the first place, even if it wasn't immediately understood by everyone.
