If you’d rather hang out at Idol though, we had several things that happened last night.
First, there was the results from last week’s vote: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/502032.html
Then, we had a new topic posted: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/502415.html
And people working it out in the Work Room: http://therealljidol.livejournal.com/502754.html

Don’t delay on any of this stuff either, you never know when someone is going to redeem their extra special DDoS card and cause more havoc! ;)

Depending on which word count I use, I'm down to ~7500 words left to go for NaNoWriMo, meaning I'm totally confident that I can win, but there has to be a lot of "butt in chair [or in my case, usually bed] in front of computer."

I started my entry last night when my brain had had enough novelling, but got interrupted when my partner called me. He was skateboarding somewhere, made a wrong turn, and was lost. Then his phone cut out. And I'd just gotten a lecture from my own mother about how one day he's going to get run over by a truck when he's skateboarding at night even though he has lights on his board. I dashed out of the house to get him, and found him intact where he'd said he was lost at, but it... interrupted my writing a bit.
